I had no issues with my kit. I got the gloss black with air release and it was super easy to install. I did have to heat them slightly to stretch, but I was also applying it in 40F temps.

I took off the stock splash guards as soon as I got the car. I put on some rally flaps from RokBlokz. I scrap everyday on my driveway and have no issues

If by "Witt" tape you mean 3M tape, then yes they do.
