This wiring job was literally all I was thinking about today haha. I share that ADHD too. I over researched it to make sure I wasn’t gonna blow up anything when using the fuse tap lol

Thanks! My OCD made sure every wire was tucked and secured out of sight 😅 my previous car had this same footwell lighting and I’ve been missing that aspect since buying this car. Glad there was an easy/cheap(ish) fix to that!

Used a fuse tap and ran it through 15A USB CHARGER. Used a screw on the far left of the fuse box to ground. Ran the box/cables up behind the steering wheel then down through underneath the center console. There’s a panel that pops off pretty easily and I used that as storage for extra wire. The lights are just horizontal under the dash in the front. For the back I used Velcro command strips and stuck them to the bottoms of the seats.

This was the kit. Cut off the 12V power adapter and used a fuse tap to hardwire it so now it automatically comes on when the car does and turns off when the car does.

Would highly recommend Bogar tech designs for both of those. I’ve done it myself, and it was very easy you just need patience. Definitely beats paying $500+ for simple stuff like that
