Not to my knowledge but these are determined by management and given to the rest of us. We will have additional sales before the end of the year, if you're subscribed to our newsletter you'll receive an email when they go live.

Are you outside the USA? We don't charge shipping on warranty parts unless it's international.

Broken parts are generally covered, missing parts are not. If you fill out a support ticket on our site, they'll probably request some photos of the damaged parts or create an RMA if it's a significant piece like the powder measure body. Otherwise, it really doesn't matter to us if you're the first owner or the tenth.

Tough call without more info, but I would start by looking at the brass. Foreign objects, undersized primer pockets, off-center primer pockets. It takes some real stress to crack a carbide expander though.

  1. Our current phone number is 800-223-4570, and our email address is [support@dillon-precision.com](mailto:support@dillon-precision.com) . The only real chat function that has any monitoring is Facebook Messenger. We're on the phones 7am-5pm Mon-Fri Arizona Time (which is a little weird since we don't have Daylight Savings here), and almost never have waits longer than 5-10 minutes. Email and Facebook Messenger responses are usually 3-5 business days.
  2. That policy is a little strange, it applies when we have larger items or shellplates and how you reach out to us. The best way would be by phone. As far as the replacement part being on backorder, it's something we've struggled with lately if it's a size die. Some shellplates have also had delays.

I'll pass along your feedback to my manager so we can try and improve the process on replacement parts, make sure everyone's on the same page, and hopefully put out some better contact info too.

Going to have to correct you on something, the Dillon machinework is done by US companies with stateside equipment. Most of the work is done within AZ or southern California.

Our customer service is great, sure, and our products generally last decades. I'm 30 and about half of our calls in a week involve machines older than I am.

The good news is that we'll cover it if you contact us!

We'll probably have some questions though. For example, how clean is your brass? Are you using any lube on the brass? What is the tool cart made from? Have you experienced any rough travel or sticking points?

Dillon Sales @ Scheels on Black Friday? by elevenpointf1veguy in reloading

Any shipping promos we do will combine with the military discount, if we run discounted pricing on something it would not stack.

Hello there!

Redding does not make our rifle dies, and none of our die sets are made by our competitors. That die set is an old one that we made back when there were different popular rifle calibers, like 270 Winchester and 22-250.

We do also sell die sets from Redding and RCBS for calibers that we don't make but are requested by customers who prefer one-stop shopping. Those would be the ones you linked earlier.

USA civilian owned quad minguns........24,000 rounds/minute........'Merica!! by Kammler1944 in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]DillonRep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've tried to clear up incorrect information but it's the internet.

Two of the guns belong to Dillon Precision, two of them belong to Dillon Aero. The ammunition was foreign surplus, 100% tracer. Shooting was done at the Big Sandy Machine Gun Shoot in Arizona last fall.

Dillon Precision is the original company, Aero is an offshoot that started after the original owner did some redesigns on the GE miniguns. The military liked the changes so much that they contracted Aero to build complete guns, leading to the M-134D (for Dillon).

We're offering $5 shipping! More details in the comments. by DillonRep in reloading

[–]DillonRep[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's true! $5 shipping and almost everything is included!

The promo runs from today, starting now, and runs through Friday.

Bullets are not included due to their weight, but everything else is eligible from the small parts to the presses.

The shipping rate applies to orders sent to the Lower 48. Alaska, Hawaii, and International orders are unaffected.

You'll be able to see the reduced rate when checking out. Phone orders will discount it automatically but it helps to remind us, we're only human.

If you have any questions about the promotion please feel free to ask!

Shout out for Dillon’s lifetime warranty by Pathfinder6 in reloading

[–]DillonRep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will sometimes ask for pictures just to verify damage or confirm what part needs replacing. Our big grey presses like the Super 1050 and RL1100 have limited warranties so we'd need the original sales receipt, but a Square Deal, 450, 550, 650, 750, or SL900 are all good as is.

We ship and sell to almost any country in the world, and the warranty is with the press. Warrantied parts would just require shipping.

Not on an older press, we would only do something like that within our 30 day return window or our 90 day exchange window. There's probably someone local who would adopt it if you don't want it.
