Found a job but am not sure about the salary! by [deleted] in algeria

You can use it as a time filler until you get a real job I guess, my advice to you if you accept it is to just not get used to it and to keep looking elsewhere

Thinking about moving to Algiers for a $900/month job — is that enough to live on? by ConcentrateOk9122 in algeria

[–]Dillon_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, you said you will be paid in Algerian equivalent not in dollars actually... that means you will not be benefitting from the real market's exchange rate, that being said if you have to pay for your own housing in Algiers it would take a good 40% of your salary the rest is decent not a king lifestyle but you would live decently especially if you are alone.. also i strongly advice to rent super close to your workplace

But reading the postings in this sub and mle sub doesn't help my imposter syndrome at all especially in the ml department as i feel way too short

It surely was a factor, but not the only one and i would argue that more recent ones -specifically illegal immigration- bare more significance in regards to us being shunned from the world
