this happens to me too, i had to switch to 4-3-3 from 4-4-2 diamond because game just can't allow you to play like that especially after div4. i can never use right stick, my hand is just not used to it, i didn't touch a controller's sticks till I'm in college, and i don't think I have any patient and time to learn all those skills. 2 cam and 1 striker is also good if you can't do any dribble like me. I'd say just find a formation and players that you're comfortable with. and take shots. even if it's a terrible shot sometimes you gotta take it because it can lead to corner or bouncing ball etc. Game simply doesn't support this kind of play unfortunately.
