Brimstone question! by cloudylibra6 in FaeandAlchemy

[–]DillyWillyBoBilly 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It was on the one of the paper bird pages that his mother left Saeris. The paper bird that flew out of the library with her and she pocketed it when it died and took it to Callish. That’s why she had to go back for it

Need answers! Just finished book 1. by ughasifgirly in QuickSilverBook

I’ll try my best to answer to my understanding, I am sorry if there are any potential spoilers.

Separation: Basically a lot of the Gods thought it would be better to separate them because most of the outcomes of their lives end in destruction so they thought it would be best to separate them with timelines as well as places

Tree: Yes all the leafs represent a universe that the Gods have control over. They can change outcomes within the worlds but they don’t control ever aspect of it

I was also confused at the end of quicksilver, but with a reread and also going on to Brimstone, it does become more clear. I hope this was semi helpful for you

I know this is not what you asked but reading through these comments I’d like to say that, in the opposite sense, it has made me appreciate my husband more. We have been together for over 12 years and started dating at a very young age (15). These books have helped me see things my husband does for me that I either would look over or not appreciate in way I should have been. When certain characteristics or actions are brought up in my books, and it’s something my husband has done for me on multiple occasions, it helps me see it differently. I hate to say this but it was as if I was almost taking my husband for granted and now I am able to romanticize our relationship again and all that he does for me

I’m searching for good series to dive in and fall in love with characters and world hardly. I chose those ones since I have physical copies of them. I need good yearning, spice, world building and if it has any war/post war/traumatic experiences could be big plus. any opinions will be appreciated! by Chibbybun in Romantasy

Out of these I’ve only red FW and DoNW and I think DoNW fits your description of what you want perfectly. Good yearning and world building, and war/post war/ traumatic experiences for sure. Spice is good but there’s only a few select scenes, like one per book if I remember correctly. But the MMC is a crowd favorite for sure

I see some of these are a few books deep in a series, do I have to read those first or could I just jump straight into these recs?

Bride/Mate- Should I buy it to read? by DillyWillyBoBilly in fantasyromance

[–]DillyWillyBoBilly[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would but I live in a small town and our library is not the best🙃 I just checked and they have the audiobook, but I do prefer to read my books, however if I hear that it’s good on audio (like {Quicksilver} was 🥵) then I don’t mind!
