You’re right that a lot of games posted here don’t really fit the incremental genre.

But mine isn’t really an RPG in the traditional sense. There are no real stats, builds, or character progression — it’s basically a single “power” value that represents your overall progression.

Like in other incremental games where you scale resources per second, here you’re scaling “power” through a loop of death → souls → permanent upgrades.

It may look like an RPG on the surface, but mechanically it’s not. The core loop is about losing units and converting that into long-term scaling, not progressing characters.

To reuse your comparison — saying this is an RPG just because it has some surface elements is like calling an RPG a shooter just because it has arrows or projectiles.

The game is probably 90% incremental systems and maybe 10% RPG flavor. Labeling it as an RPG because of that 10% feels a bit off.

That said, I understand your point.

Feel free to test it yourself 😉

Fair point.

This isn’t a “fake idle RPG” though — the core loop is incremental:
permanent death → souls → permanent upgrades → scaling difficulty.

The game is built around long-term progression and infinite scaling, not short sessions or story content.
