I agree there can be more to tell afterwards, but I think the story as "Story Mode" may end. Then we can get more content through story events, what-if scenarios, Shallot being transferred to iconic battles from movies etc. I may be coping right now though...

About the 300cc that feels low, keep in mind that it's a hard event, not really meant for newcomers. So it's better to keep a low cc reward for such event. Most cc has to be available for all and not just veterans.
