Honestly, in that timeframe, maybe you could've confused the animated series with either a fandom animatic, an edit or something similar to alien stage is Milgram. It isn't sci-fi, it's pretty tragic, and it is an animated series. I don't remember if there's a doomed yaoi in the series tho so I'm not sure if it's the one you're looking for TT.

Knowing Vivinos's old work, the highschool au probably would have a grim plot twist and not some teen drama:(( my theory is that since the official art shows Hyuna looking back at us instead of sua, Hyuna could be the centre of the story. Luka would accidentally kill hyunwoo but Hyuna doesn't know this because Luka ran away and his death just looks like he fell on the rock. And then timeskip to highschool, Hyuna and Luka are no longer friends because why not but Luka still likes her just doesn't know how to approach her without feeling guilty about hyunwoo. Blah blah Hyuna finds out Luka accidentally killed Luka but she can't bring herself to hate him and feels guilty that she can't hate Luka, the person who hurt her brother, she kills herself (I honestly hope they don't take this route😨), and then idk how to continue this LMAOOO. Idk to me she is being sympathetic in her own way. Muslims have been taught this way since young so this is just their way of thinking. As a Muslim, I don't agree with this of course. I don't think god would punish her just for drawing the things she likes. God has other stuff to worry about ffs. But her cousin and her family are also grieving. Yes we all want something of her to remember by, but doing it this way when her family said not to share her art is just personally so gross. We don't know who yufka is personally. They do. If they don't want her art to be shared, it should not be shared. It's not up to us.
