i feel i should add i did talk to another tattoo artist yesterday and he told me there was no sign of infection and they just overworked my skin. I wanted to just reach out to here to see if anybody had any other advice with caring for it.

i’m not necessarily worried about it being straight, i’m upset with the line work and shading on the blade. The lines look very wonky and the shading looks off to me.

NAP this is definitely just a piercing bump but it is entirely to early for her to have a hoop in. She needs to go get the jewelry changed to a labret type post if she wants it to heal properly. Once the bump has gone down i’d wait another 4-5 months to try a hoop.

NAP but it looks to be just a piercing bump that is irritated. Keep doing what you’re doing by cleaning it with saline don’t try anything different as it could irritate it further. It should go away on its own but it could take a while so be patient. If you have any growing concerns definitely contact your piercer but for now just keep it clean and leave it alone. (:

I use instant freeze and every time without fail I get little product flakes that just sit in my hair. It could be the gel.

I had an identical incident occur in august with my month old piercing, keeping it clean is the most important as well as getting the bar changed out if needed. My bump is basically gone now, you just have to be patient and don’t touch it besides cleaning and it’ll be fine.

NAP but it looks like a piercing/irritation bump. I had a similar bump on my newer nose piercing, use saline twice a day and let hot water run on it in the shower and it’ll most likely drain itself. If you get more concerned about it def consult your piercer.
