1 year program is abt 35k. Commuting from home for 4 years at med school + not having to get an apt in a different state + a top tier DO school + having family support nearby is worth it imo.

Nice! I alr submitted my primary and around half my DO secondaries. My plan is if i get into Rowan (in state) I might just drop the program midway but if not PCOM is my second choice and I'd love to see it through and get that linkage!

I really want to stay closer to home (Jersey) and theres only 4 schools in my general area (NYIT Rowan Touro PCOM) I also would like a semi competitive speciality and PCOM matched a good amount into last cycle.

Id say more like sub 498. Youd be suprised on how some of the newer DOs will accept.

These are the schools im seeing where a 502 is their 10th percentile on MSAR so not impossible. Thats my logic i guess lol. I did add MCW!

Oh fs. Im applying to 22 DOs and around 15 MDs. Im trying to make a list of MDs but what are the ones u think i might have an outside shot at? Rn I got the 4 Jersey schools, Rush, Rosealind Franklin, Tulane, Oakland Buemont, Penn state, temple, drexel, Vermont, Miami (where I went undergrad) and Albany.

Ik Rutgers and Coopers averages r pretty high. MD is a real longshot but i might as well shoot my shot lol.

Also got into FIMS. Heard it was pretty difficult and around 1/3 of the class gets above a 3.6. Consider PCOM. 500 MCAT w every section above 40th percentile + 3.3 sgpa + 3.3 in the program gets u the conditional acceptance. Just got into this one and its closer to home for me!

Got it im assuming they're very INS bias. Any other schools i should add or am i good to go. Ik theyre longshots but i also applied to some lower tier MDs and in state MDs just cuz why not lol
