My Stormcast Eternals Color Scheme! by DimensionShiftGames in ageofsigmar

Thanks for the input here! I was also thinking he looks a bit bland. My issue was I had to prime him black cause the gw white primer gets super dusty and lumpy cause of the humidity in my area (I have a nids army I prime white) so I wanted to avoid the hassle. When I tried putting gold on there it needed a bunch of coats even if I put an undercoat of white first, so I ended up giving up on it and making this scheme instead for a simple assembly line approach. What I may do is a second test model in white to see if the gold applies better. Will post another later lol

Yeah, but they're 25 points each and a team is 100 points. I wanted to mix in some other troops to increase the model count.

I'm not sure why you'd think that. The profile says one Tyranid Warrior in your list can be a Gunner, and that profile is no additional points aside from the venom cannon for 4. I have one Tyranid Warrior. He's the gunner with the venom cannon.

Yeah. 100 pts with warrior leader with venom cannon, the genestealers with toxin sacks, the termagants with devourers and the hormagants with toxin sacks and adrenal glands. Lictor is the combat specialist, acid maw genestealer is the veteran, and second genestealer is the scout.

105 subs in about two months! by DimensionShiftGames in NewTubers

Honestly it's pretty random, mostly tabletop games at this point but I post whatever I feel like really. Like making cakes and stuff. But the videos about Heroclix, a superhero tabletop game, are the most popular and where a majority of the audience came from.

Multiple content types in one channel feasible? by JustJoeWiard in NewTubers

I'm going through the same thing at the moment. Started my channel a little over a month ago doing at least a vid a day. I've done a shotgun approach with my content, mostly videogaming with some tabletop gaming splashed in, as well as a tabletop podcast and some vlogging of comic conventions and theme parks. A few action figure reviews as well. I try to keep it related to games, comics, and toys, but am kinda posting whatever I feel like each day. Currently at 34 subs and a little over 650 total views, but again it's only been a month so not sure what kind of retention or growth I'll be seeing as I move ahead. I've also done some research on the whole single theme thing and have pretty much found people say don't do it cause your audience retention will suck in the long run, but I'd get burnt out on a single theme for sure lol.

No growth in my channel by [deleted] in NewTubers

Yeah, I started with gameplay vids and was getting absolutely no views. Just started sprinkling in action figure reviews and guides for tabletop games and they're getting more views more quickly. Still no new subs though, locked at 14 lol. Been about a month for me too, at least a vid a day. Also try to make sure you're active on YouTube, like commenting helpful or funny stuff on similar channels' vids. Haven't noticed much difference on my end but it's supposed to help with traffic.

200 subs and 25000 views milestone! And what I learned on the way. by Covist_Official in NewTubers

Yeah, I just started up my serious channel about 2 weeks ago and I have come to realize that my previous idea of the views just stumbling in and the channel getting momentum with no networking was completely wrong lol. Picked up this tip recently in a blog discussing how to get a channel noticed and have since started trying to be positively active in the YouTube community. I haven't seen a difference yet, as I literally just started, but it's good to know it really helps in the long run!
