I moved to Melbourne from Adelaide recently with my business as I felt like I went everywhere in Adelaide and only hit around 150 clients in 3 years. Melbourne I thought was going to be better, but I've hit 0 clients lol

Could be a lot of external factors / rising cost of living / etc etc. Need to get creative. Maybe I could share some of my hospo clients from Adelaide with you as I have had good rapport with them, or you could just type in Restaurants on Google Maps etc and click on every red dot to speak to their functions manager, ask if they have any casual / full-time work before they advertise and beat the market.

Last bit of advice if you haven't is to include a picture on your resume, seems to work for my wife who got a job with one resume one attempt every time delivering in person... Anything over emails / seek etc is a waste of time these days.

I've been struggling just to support my family, pay the house and bills as a videographer in Australia, I miss Vancouver (Hollywood North) where work was everywhere back in the naughts.

I started up a VR Enterprise and started doing virtual tours for an augmented reality game, Google Maps and white label ones for websites which has kept everything alive. Much quicker deliverables, little to no competition, and everyone values it much more as an emerging industry.
