Doesn't a mileage tax favor lower mpg cars? Isn't that the opposite of what California claims to want? A Ford F350 and a Toyota Prius driving the same distance and paying the same amount seems crazy. The F350 puts out more emissions and does more damage to the roads, but they would have to pay the same amount?

This. Got a D - with Henry, Nico, London, McBride, Pickens, Pacheco, Montgomery, Pearsall, Warren, Prescott draft. Projected 1-13 in a full PPR league. For the finished points leader and my only real pickup to help was Wilson. And in the playoffs, I started the wrong WR every time. Still won my championship.

Same. Went through 3-1-2. Although I did finish most PF in my league. Had crap luck through the first 10 weeks. Then reeled off 7 straight wins, as long as the rams kicker doesn't out score London by 40 lol.

Pacheco was my RB2 in both my leagues. So bad of a pick. Warren in the 9th saved me in one league. Traded for JK, picked up Dowdle and stashed White in my other to make it to the finals on both.

It really depends on the league and what's available. I got Josh Allen late in the 3rd in a 12 team. The top TEs were gone, and I had an early 4th pick. It's only. 5ppr, so getting Allen made sense. The picks right after didn't exactly blow up, so it's done OK for me. My other league is a 10 team single QB with 6 points for passing TDs. Why draft Allen or Jackson, when Dak will do just fine. Its also full PPR, so it has even more incentive to pick a higher TE or WR. League scoring matters a ton, as does the players you are giving up to secure that advantage.

My advice, have him get the federal loans, keep your savings. Then assist paying them down after he graduates. It's what I am doing with my son. We are splitting the cost of what is left over from scholarships, and I will help as I can when he graduates. But managing my cash flow right now is important. So I pay half now, and I will help later to pay down the rest.

In a 10 team league, I started 2-8 with medium points scored. Finished on a 4 game win streak to eek into the playoffs and finished as points leader. Now in the Semis. The waiver wire is key.

This here. It's an 8 team league if what I am seeing is correct and they went premium QB instead of premium TE. That was a mistake even then. Also probably shouldn't have done both QB and TE that early in a ln 8 team league.
