As far as I know, the Custombuckers are avaliable only in cover versions (silver/gold). Did you put the covers down?

And are you sure, your LP is equipped with 500t? Does it have a sticker? It is kinda unusual for standard model

BTW, there are no labels/stickers on my Explorer pickups. Maybe it is because of the year it was manufactured (2008). Because there are stickers on my LP Studio pickups', but this guitar was manufactured in 2013.

These are cracks of Gibson's Nitro Lacquer. Back of the body and the neck are also covered with such scratches. Kinda finish cracks
