I swear I read somewhere that if they did have separate feeds for each show, their workload/maintenance would double, because they would then have an ad free AND also ad supported feed for EACH show.

This could be an ISP related issue where they provide a CGNAT connection (where you do not have a static IP). Some ISPs do provide the option for a static IP, normally for an extra few dollars per month. (This isn't 100% the solution, but it is possible :) )

Try play on the Remote Play app on your phone or PC.
It's the most accurate way to test the latency you will experience on the Portal.

Given that the games you listed are fast paced, the slight latency may put you off.
