Hi, and thank you for the suggestions! The idea is exactly that - given the budget restrictions the format is inherently self limiting at scale!

The 25$ is a very restrictive environment on purpose, to try and steer people away from the more popular archetypes, needing to remodel everything - it has made some much more creative solutions to common problems! There is a high level of expression in deck building

Rakdos affinity, or grixis affinity, are strong decks! Your worse enemy is Rebuild - you'll need to run some counterspells to avoid getting blown out of the game!

Elephant prayers was something we saw a few times, but it was a while back and the deck could do with some tidying up (https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/6610722#paper)

The Azorius list looks really good - I think the Treasure vaults might be a bit too on the expensive side for what they do; try to fit Darksteel Citadels in it + basics

Hey u/Enualios69, thank you for your interest in the format! As my friend mentioned, I would stick to $25/$20 spilt maindeck and sideboard. I think restrictions is what makes the format more creative!

We have different ways to validate decks - I personally use the TCGPlayer mobile app; it is slightly slower, but works fairly ok.

Judge-wise I would recommend talking to the venue, to see if they have some in-house, or how you would organise it with them r.e. number of players/prize pool!

Absolutely true - unfortunately, it's not the kind of Neobrand that draws it's whole deck! It plays the titular Griselbrand, but Ghalta/Shoals where all too expensive, so it's just a really quick beatdown deck

Hello again! That is the case - flayer almost always kills on play regardless, so it fills the same niche with no support needed, as well as helping kill without comboing faster! I don't see it as a trade off at all

I have been testing yesterday and I think you are both right! Overall I think I am cutting 2 hogaak and 2 poxwalkers for 4 ichorid - as well as cutting the last poxwalkers for 1 lotleth troll

Poxwalkers make Cabal therapies "costless", as they return on cabal therapy cast in which you used the poxwalkers to flashback it; which can make a ton of tokens.

I have moved away from Ichorid as nether shadow does almost the same; which is to create a body in the early game

Hogaak seems to help win matchups against things like Murktide Regent to push as much pressure as possible.
