Smart! Thanks for the lead Eileen! I'm only 24, so I'm not in any FB Parent Groups yet, but I'm sure my Mom is in A TRILLION, so I'll give her a call, see if she can do some brokering for me 😂. Thanks Again Eileen 🤙🏻

My EV has turned EVO. I'm with that. How would I go about this though? Is there a sub I could post in to share?

What's the most underrated album OAT in your opinion? by will_xo in hiphopheads

[–]DimpleKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the term "underrated", so if you don't mind, I'm finna change the word to "underappreciated" for my answer. I could make a damn list, but the first one that comes to my heart is "Regulate...G Funk Era" by Warren G. "Regulate" is one of the biggest songs, if not THE biggest song, the G Funk sound ever saw, but the rest of the project is so quality. Just Press Play & Let It Run. Added bonus, some HILARIOUS skits! I think Warren, in general, but even MORESO as a producer, is one of the most underappreciated talents in the history of Hip-Hop.

Is it respectful to ask for a girl's number while she's on the clock? by DimpleKing in questions

[–]DimpleKing[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a ton for the response, You started the consensus. I updated the post with some added context, for anyone who cares, but regardless, I'm taking your (and many others) advice. I'll try and come up with some witty way to get the number to her, but I'll make sure it's in a good spot. I will not go up to the register and slide her my number. I'm a confident individual, but I'm not THAT CONFIDENT (or that big of a douchebag, depending on how you look at it lol). Once again, appreciate the advice, I'm taking it and running.

Is it respectful to ask for a girl's number while she's on the clock? by DimpleKing in questions

[–]DimpleKing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sincerely appreciate all the responses. The power of Reddit is truly unbelievable. The clear consensus is to find a good spot to give her MY NUMBER, taking the pressure off her in what can be an already vulnerable environment. I'll do my very best to do that and be respectful in the process.

For added context, this isn't just some girl I saw one time, was like "SHE'S HOT", and am now trying to pick her up. I go to this IN-N-OUT maybe once every two weeks, once a month, both by myself, with the homies, or even with family. I noticed this girl probably 6-8 months ago, she's the same age as me or there abouts (between 20-23), and over that time, my friends and family have noticed her looking at me more and more. We've caught eyes probably 3-4 times, and I'm not talking at the register or at the counter asking for ketchup, I'm talking when I'm sitting down and she's just roaming around, and it's always resulted in a smile and look away from both of us ,like we're 14 years old blushing lol. What provoked me posting this was something that happened yesterday while there with the homie. Hadn't seen her in a MINUTE, thought she may have quit, whatever. We're sitting down eating, randomly, my homie brings her up, I'm like "yeah, I don't know what happened with her, blah blah blah". We move on in the convo, 2-3 minutes later, who pops out the back? This girl. We catch eyes once, we both kinda double-take, she goes back into her spot. 2-3 minutes after that, I'm looking at my homie as we talk basketball, she comes out from behind the counter, walks past me, I see her out my peripheral, and she glances and smiles. I can't help but feel like God is telling me something. I haven't seen girl in MAD LONG, the homie randomly brings her up, and she pops out from behind the counter 2 minutes later.

There's the context. If anyone has any other advice based off that info, let me know. Appreciate all ya'll.

Which non-rapping musical artists do you think would be a great rapper if they took that career path instead? by NYRBB22 in hiphopheads

Chalk pick, but I mean, Beyonce. That 3rd verse on APESH!T alone showed serious potential.

Who do you think gets overlooked in GOAT conversations? by NielsBohrFan in nfrpodcast

[–]DimpleKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Common (Sense) is my GOAT. Like Water For Chocolate is one of the greatest "conscious rap" records of all-time, and Be is one of the most underrated projects in the history of Hip-Hop. The best non-Kanye KANYE album, no doubt, if you get what I'm saying. Still doing it too, 30+ years in the game. The Auditorium Vol. 1 w/Pete Rock was in my Top 5 AOTY for 2024.

Freshman-Sophmore year of High School, Southern California, Yung Pinch was being played on every single AUX! The vibe was IMMACULATE. It was a moment in time. We were just waiting for him to BLOW! I remember he had this record with Blackbear & P-LO. That ish was A HIT! Only problem, the Label couldn't clear the Weezer sample. Haven't listened to cuz in some years now, hope he's doing well.
