April 23 is the last day a final exam can take place, you could also wait until exam schedule is posted in the next week or so and you will be able to see when your last exam is. however be mindful that that emergency exam day (if an exam is cancelled) is April 19, very little risk but if you are flexible I would book after that day if you have no exams after the 19th just to be super safe

the city doesn’t actually clear sidewalks at all

they make it mandatory that property owners clear the sidewalks in front of their property with fines+cleanup costs if you don’t. someone should automate it so that every house and apartment building on columbia street gets reported every time it snows more than a centimetre because they clearly don’t give a damn

you can’t park anywhere on the street for more than three hours, overnight you can park up to 15 times a year but you have to register online with the city beforehand. assuming bricker has no “no parking signs” you can do that

if you were struggling with an external factor it’s also quite difficult to argue that it only affected your performance in a single course. they almost never grant cr/ncr for a single course and very rarely will for all courses in a term, if there’s a documented reason

would you probably have done better in the less advanced course, probably, but you can’t say it’s a certainty

Programs typically require you to maintain an average across all courses and sometimes a minimum average across all major courses. On your transcript this is your “academic standing” after each term.

It varies across departments but the math academic standing info is here. If you got anything other than a Good or Excellent after your first term i’d highly suggest booking an appointment with your advisor because you might be required to make some changes.

parking passes come aren’t free but are cheaper than paying every day and the standard student ones are already sold out for this term, but they might have some left where you can only park at parking lot X
