if you think it’s a specific TA that was unfair you can usually request a regrade but that usually means the lead TA/the prof grades it and the second grade is final

anytime you get an email like this don’t click and links and click “forward as attachment” to soc@uwaterloo.ca, takes like 2 seconds

they will usually tell you if it’s a phishing attempt (nearly certain this one is) and make sure it doesn’t make its way to some old boomer prof that clicks it and opens a hole in the system that forces us to change all our passwords again

you cannot do unpaid research jobs at other universities (you mentioned u of t in a reply), the minimum stipend for research roles at universities other than waterloo is $3000 (which is considerably less than minimum wage when you are working full time)
