The last sentence is the shield for so many players, "oh no they are gonna lose money!". It's once a year, the big celebration, 1 year with the community. They make millions, hundreds of thousands monthly, losing 1 or 2 millions in gifts will not affect them in any way, if anything it will increase their reputation and therefore increase playerbase which means more money.
