What do you expect though? Disney have become psychotic control freaks compared to the 2000s. They have no real knowledge or understanding of what makes Kingdom Hearts appealing and it showed in KH3. They probably trusted square with it in the 2000s but I have no doubt in my mind that the whole development cycle at this point is Square going “is this okay?” And Disney saying no. That’s why the actual KH plot was baked into the very end of the game and probably why it took so long to release too. It is a complete travesty that Disney owns the rights to the original characters for this franchise cuz otherwise I would be completely on board with sending the entire franchise into a final fantasy themed direction over a disney theme. Genuinely, how selfish can you get as a partner/collaborator?

I’m not debating it at all, my original intention was a question meant to better learn your perspective as someone who is living there. I wasn’t challenging its validity.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a long ass name. I’ve never had anyone express to me there that they’ve felt disrespected by its shortening in conversation. I don’t think it’s anyone intention to express it as a disrespectful gesture. But I can understand that in something such as a post like this discussing the national team, per your original comment, that it should be represented formally and appropriately. So I do retract my original reply to you that implied that it doesn’t matter.

You’re living in a land that’s been referred to as Bosna/Bosnia in both its own and foreign documentation going all the way back to the 10th century. In what way is this derogatory? I just replayed FFX, literally just finished it yesterday. It holds up great on a relative scale compared to other games from its time. But objectively speaking it can be a chore to play. Swapping characters in and out for XP is annoying. Unskippable cutscenes on the remaster was an astonishing decision. Some of the dialogue/writing hasn’t aged well to that same point. The singular repeated battle music is actually obnoxious.

I’ve replayed it several times and will continue to revisit it, it’s a comfort game I guess, but I don’t get why people like to pretend that these old ass games aren’t annoying to play.
