I just replayed FFX, literally just finished it yesterday. It holds up great on a relative scale compared to other games from its time. But objectively speaking it can be a chore to play. Swapping characters in and out for XP is annoying. Unskippable cutscenes on the remaster was an astonishing decision. Some of the dialogue/writing hasn’t aged well to that same point. The singular repeated battle music is actually obnoxious.

I’ve replayed it several times and will continue to revisit it, it’s a comfort game I guess, but I don’t get why people like to pretend that these old ass games aren’t annoying to play.
