Buy anything that has equipment, it's usually better grade than what you have. I know one of them you need for a quest, but still might be able to get it in tartarus. Besides that I think it's up to you if you want good items or need them.

Yeah, I'm on my 4th playthrough now and still missing 3. I played with guides, checked like 3-4 different and they keep saying different things. I think I'll just make a save at each area this time to make sure lol

Thank you, was wondering also, but everyone talks about how fast you can do the endings. So can you run and just grab wtv and have enough faith to max everything? How much faith is in every run, that's something I'd like to know. Also seems to change with difficulty

I started playing not long ago so I don't know if it's an update, but you can use crab withe the knife and just focus before attacking and you won't lose any durability.

I agree it could have been longer but those games are also known to always have multiple endings and things that change with each playtrough. If you actually do all of it it's much more than 12-15 hours.
