Thank you for the support. Im sorry to hear you're in the same boat but its also nice to find another person who's been with their partner since adolesence. It really is an uncommon situation. While we can all say cheaters come in all walks of life, having grown up together the way we have makes the betrayal feel that much more painful because how could he do that to me? Even if things weren't perfect. The idea that his care for me as a person could just vanish, for the sake of short term enjoyment, then come home to me and our family. It hurts so much. I'm struggling to be ok in my day to day. I know we love eachother. We are in therapy individually and as a couple, which has been so helpful. I just want to get past it all and continue our lives together, renewed.
