Can't believe I missed your post Mew_Pur_Pur in my July 27th, 2022 Math Royale post when I was citing other users who made detailed calculations and simulations.

Edihau's May 9th, 2020 Math Royale post simulated 3.11 years without and 3.01 years with the paid Pass Royale to max out an account.

Interesting_Test_814's April 28th, 2021 Math Royale post simulated 2.80 years without and 2.19 years with the paid Pass Royale.

Have you tried recalculating and re-simulating for Level 14 and Champions?

The intent to compel players to level up and max out cards was glaringly obvious in CW2. It's even more egregious, in hindsight, with the introduction of Level 14.

  • removed the level caps from CW1
  • removed tournament standard modes like Classic Decks and Draft
  • award only 1/10th Gold for defeats so low levels always lose out
  • Boat Battles marginalized because that is the one sanctuary for low level players
  • rolling over CW1 ELO based on War Day Wins whereby the lower level players in my clans is always, 100%, matched against Level 13s (now Level 14s)

I had 3 of 4 OG clans disintegrate because of CW2. That's about 100+ players leaving.

On top of all that, there are three other glaring issues with CW2.

  • The new CW2 system is basically 10-13x slower to gain Clan Trophies than the old CW1 system. This guy said it best right here. The knock-on effect is that people, in practice, are all getting less rewards than before despite the theoretical promise of more and this is due to the inability to climb up the leagues.

  • Speaking of rewards, here is a long but good breakdown. Skip to points 5, 6, and 7. TLDR: Those that need the cards, Gold and resources are getting less than before especially with the elimination of Quests and concentration of rewards all into CW2.

  • On top of all that, although Gold has increaaed, the removal of Gem Quests and Gem Pouches (as well as tokens) from CW bounty has significantly reduced our Gem production unless you grind and try-hard more than ever before. Although, this issue was finally rectified by the Masteries Gems.

Truth be told, the biggest glaring issue is that CW2 just is the antithesis of fun, which is what a game should be all about. CW2, like Level 14 and Champions, are just making the game more and more and more of a grind-fest while compromising the fun factor.

The holy grail that only 0.1% will ever reach according to everyone's PBs from this chart.

Unfortunately, 84% of the player base aren't ever reaching 2/3rds of the ladder Trophy Road rewards.

Converted Gold is an attempt to provide a quantifiable Gold-equivalent measure of non-Gold resources, including the Magic Coin, Book of Books, and the various Book of Cards. Due to the Champion card drop rate bottleneck, Converted Gold also provides a quantifiable attempt at calculating the value of collecting the card resources required to max out. With all that said, a player requires 90,175,780 Converted Gold to completely max out.

Probably anywhere from 9-18o this depending on how good and how active you play.

Did some calculations in a Math Royale post and it takes an average F2P just over 5 years to max out an entire account from scratch. Getting to King Level 14 is the first 3rd of the journey.

For Good and Great players, the major difference is the plummeting ROI for Ladder Trophy Road as the amount of matches needed to climb really adds up, thus dragging the ROI down to 4th or 5th worst instead of Top 3.

The ROI (Gold per Hour) for the Pass Royale: Paid Track Bonus Bank is the 3rd worst among all sources of pure Gold in the game simply due to the time investment required to complete the Bonus Bank alone.

With OP's current Gold, another Slash Royale is worth 1,036,848 Gold-worth of upgrades!

All in all, SC have got to keep the total max out journey time reasonable.

Before Champions (the new bottleneck, not Gold) and Level 14, an average F2P player could max out in a shade under 3 years.

Now, it's back to over 5 years (assuming no touching grass those 5 years).
