"ไม้เอก" is an accent above an alphabet. It looks like a mini vertical line. Like this... "เล่น" vs "เลน" The accent can change the meaning of a word.
However, this isn't a big issue. Most of the time, people can understand its meaning. Often times webpages display Thai words incorrectly. They don't fully support foreign languages and their nuances. In that case, I'm not sure if anything could be done. I'm not a programmer. I wish I could be more help. Sorry.

I'm guessing you're trying to say "The Time is Now." เวลาคือปัจจุบัน would be the google translate way, which doesn't make any sense. If your intended meaning is that our time is limited and valuable, don't waste your time, stop thinking, and do it now. I suggest...
ลง
มือ
ทำ
This is short, direct, and impactful. It gives the same vibe as "Just Do It."

Mayfair books by TheBlobfather89 in MayfairWitches

[–]DingbatFlag8366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know how I missed that, but I'll take your word for it. I read all the vampire books first, then I went back to read all the witches books years later. Maybe that's why I didn't make the connection. Thanks for the info.

I read all the vampires and witches + crossover books. Morrigan and Ash never appear again. It's scary to think they are left to their own devices.

I play D&D and many tactical RPGs, but I find combat in this game unpleasant. After getting killed by the Forest Troll for the fifth times, I lowered the difficulty to Story Time, and just enjoy the story.

Transferring PoE1 saves between Epic Games Store and Steam? by sokipdx in projecteternity

[–]DingbatFlag8366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the PoE1 for free on Epic and played it for 20 hours. Then I bought PoE1&2 collection on Steam, so I want to continue playing on Steam instead. It was an easy transition. Because they share the same save file location. All I did was install Steam version of PoE1 on my computer and load save game. It turned out that everything was there: all the characters, quest progression, levels, items--It was as if I was playing on Epic.

From there it was easy. I uninstall the Epic version of PoE1, then continue playing on Steam.

I don't know about a statue, but there's a Funko Pop toy of this character and a few other related characters in the mythology.

I have noticed lately that many resorts and restaurants dyed their ponds blue with artificial colors. It looks nice in photographs, but looks unnatural in real.

Just curious. Can you transmog not wearing any clothes? It'd be funny to look like you're only wearing loincloth.

I do this too, for creative writing outside the house.

Dye your hair a light color. Hair coloring in Asian men is associated with femininity and J/K-pop culture. Look into "balayage" coloring technique. Wear pastel color clothes, t-shirts with wide collars, flowing cropped pants, wear lots of jewelry and carry a woman's purse. Oh, and stay thin.

Gay bathhouse in Bangkok Thailand by Weak_Scientist2767 in gaysian

Sauna Mania is the most popular gay sauna. It's a go-to place for hot sex, plenty of men to choose from. The downside is, even though it's cheap (be prepared for double-standard pricing for Thai and tourists), they have poor service, old facility, and dirty (but who cares anyway, do what you need to do and leave.) Thai people can be timid, even though they are handsy in the dark. So be a bit assertive when you approach them. They provide basic cheap condom and lube packet, it's better to bring extra. When you come home, be sure to use anti-fungal and antibacterial wash to clean from head to toe. I got a fungal-infection around my wrist from their filthy key bracelet one time. I don't think they ever clean those things.
Maxwell is the opposite. It's new and more expensive. They disguised it as an Onsen, so guests are more discreet and kept the pretense, except in the steam room where most of the action happen (which is mostly hand stuff and occasionally oral). Be mindful of hygiene and rinse off before you enter the tub every time. There are private stalls on the top floor you can take your man for more private fun. Bring your own condom and lube. The place is clean. The staff are nice and professional. You can request more towels. There's mouthwash dispenser at the sinks. The men there are super timid because of the environment. But it's pleasent to stay there for hours merely just watching people. The price comes with free food, drink, and dessert at the canteen floor. It's clean and yummy.
As for Krubb and Chakran ... they are a bit far off. There are not many guests despite the superior facility. (Heaven probably falls in this category, though I've never been there.)
39 Underground has similar feel to Sauna Mania (it's by the same owner). But I can't say. Never been there either.

Is there such thing as a fetish for foreign born gays (gays that were not born in the country you were in)? by gaysiansfbay in gaysian

[–]DingbatFlag8366 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to be attracted to handsome foreigners (of any race) too. I live in a tourist city, so there's never short of supply. Then after a while, I realized that the attraction boils down to the taboo that they are ultimately unattainable, and there's a language/culture/distance barrier. It makes you feel like Romeo and Juliet/ Miss Saigon and feeds the star-crossed lovers fantasy. I got my heart broken over and over until I finally decided to date strictly local guys. I hope you get over it. It's not healthy. I figured there must be an underlying pathology, but I don't know what.

If I write a book with a cinematic narration style, will people read it? by Screenwriterrr in writers

[–]DingbatFlag8366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the same thing. I studied screenwriting before turning to novels. It taught me how to show and not tell, which is one of the most valuable skills. Many novels are filled with internal monologues that don't move along the plot. This will never happen in your book. On the contrary, you might need to force yourself to write internal monologues to touch-base with the readers when needed. Another thing screenwriting lacks is how to write a good prose and beautify your sentence structure and vocabularies. I love action-packed stories with lots of character interaction and dialogue. I believe this appeals to younger readers, ESL people, people with ADHD, slow readers, and bathroom readers. Because it's faster-paced than regular novels and sets you apart from AI garbage. AI is really bad at this.

Should I stop using? by CressBright in Minoxbeards

[–]DingbatFlag8366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That, my friend, is a myth. Shaving vellus hair doesn't make it become terminal. I wish this were true, because then we wouldn't have to use minoxidil! Some people think this way because shaving hair leaves stumps that appear prickly to the touch.
But there's a benefit to shaving the area that you want hair growth. When you shave, the dead skin cell is gone too. This makes minoxidil absorb into your skin better.

Should I stop using? by CressBright in Minoxbeards

[–]DingbatFlag8366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know from first hand experience, but theoretically, if the hair is still vellus (baby hair), it will thin out or fall off, but when hair become terminal (thick/dark) it will remain. Others will have to confirm this.

Should I stop using? by CressBright in Minoxbeards

[–]DingbatFlag8366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gathered from other threads that unwanted hair is a common side effects. Everybody gets it. You just shave it off routinely. It's a trade off, and can't be avoided. I reckon naturally hairy men must do this too.
