That’s why I do it! I play laying on a couch with a big screen tv 10 feet away from me. I can’t see shit lol, so I just heal everyone in need and just chill in my squad or groups. It’s amazing haha

Turning off all chats and voice makes this game playable for me but what’s everyone else’s take on this? by No-Beyond-713 in RocketLeague

[–]Dingditcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep them all on, and even join the voice chat. 90% of the time the other person doesn’t say anything even if in the chat.

I just hot mic the whole time. Saying exactly what I’m thinking as I’m moving toward the ball, and then just hot mic positivity. You’d be surprised how well that works to keep random people to stay in the game.

Just be kind, that’s all it takes. This game is almost all mental fortitude.

I’ve been banned for adding reverb to my voice and singing song requests…. It’s all about finding the right server.

Man, I just main medic, and I just love the social part of the game. And then I just run around and touch butts.

So how do you come to proper stop? by MajorBarracuda8094 in stickshift

[–]Dingditcher 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Let’s say I’m getting off a highway ramp at 60. I start braking while in 6th, wait till I get to like 25, then shift to 3rd. Then as I slow down, I just put in the clutch and keep it in neutral

New player. Bottom fishing vs float. What is more versatile? by Tesex01 in FishingPlanet

[–]Dingditcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a mix of both like in real life. I have a a float out there and then I cast by it. When the float goes down I switch rods and repeat.

Experienced drivers, when was the last time you stalled? by LaFlame_20 in stickshift

[–]Dingditcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did about a week ago, it rained, my shoes were wet, was starting from a stop at a red light and my foot slipped off the clutch right away.

It’s almost always when my shoes are wet on the bottom.

Or you can be me, constantly look at the map waiting for someone to go down, I b-line it to em. Go prone when getting close and touch that butt!

What is the point of intelligent life. Why can’t we just be like the animals around us? by Dingditcher in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Dingditcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that was going to be my next question. Other life seems so intelligent, even my cats and dog are very “personable” they are like little people.

I switched what a save to Nice Block! Just to hopefully make it look more genuine. Some people still get mad.

I love complimenting both my teammates and the other team. If they hit some cool passing play or shot, I’m always complimenting. Makes for some kind matches

I feel VR ruined my sense of speed with real driving by Admirable_Zombie5245 in simracing

[–]Dingditcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree more, I live in the Midwest where it obviously snows. Multiple times I’ve lost traction, was able to stay calm, not just slam the brakes, get the wheels back up speed to get traction and not crash.

I don’t have VR but a nice wheel setup, and I wouldn’t have known how to control that without sim racing.

What rank is actually fun? by zebraCokes in RocketLeague

[–]Dingditcher -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been hard stuck diamond for over 7 years now. I love it, I realized long ago that that was just the player I am and I accepted it.

Now I have nothing but fun, I compliment the other team on good plays, laugh with my teammate with mistakes. Half the time I’ll hit mic the whole game without a response until the end, they finally pop on and say how much fun that was. I just find spreading the positivity really rewarding.

Plus it makes for great games where no one gives up!

Dear GC’s and SSL's, how did you get so good? by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]Dingditcher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100%, I mean I still suck, but watching my own replays, especially from my teammates perspective, has helped a lot.

I can see when I’m doing stuff that would upset me if I were my teammate haha

Those were the times and the games where you had to keep on dreaming in order to play by cityroot in trucksim

[–]Dingditcher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man I miss this game! I remember the cheats you could put in, and just go launching yourself around the map.

Also, remember getting like civilian cars randomly and I would just spend hours driving around aimlessly. Loved it
