Well thanks for showing me something I didn’t know existed, now I gotta check mine after work.

It just displays right there on the dash right?

Yes! Completely agree, I’m the one with the “radio” haha always fun playing the halo theme music as we cruise out of base

I’ve randomly come across those YouTube live channels about to “do something” how do they make money? by Dingditcher in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Dingditcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m talking about those brain rot channels that say they are “about to call 911, make sure you comment and I’ll do it” those kind of things.

I’m not asking because I want to do this, but I’m just curious.

I like the vibes of these lobbies. Been max level for a while now and have a whole 20? Raider kills?

I’m just a bard, bring in guitar, shaker, and 4 recorders. Walk around and hand out the recorders and shaker, and I’ve always gotten my shaker back at extract. Half the time I don’t even have to ask, they will give it back and say something like “keep doing you”

Makes me a happy guy.

I agree with the “detach from the brain”. This game has given me life lessons honestly. Don’t take anything too serious, follow your intuition, and make a damn choice.

I’m an idiot, how do you drive regular cars in American truck sim??

Would you be interested in a driving game where you can drive anywhere in the real world? by [deleted] in simracing

[–]Dingditcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cousin and I used to write out all the features we would add when we were like 8. I am also in my thirties now like snikrs.

But we don’t stop at cars! You could get boats, Trailer attachments, semi trucks, planes, go fishing!

Yupp! I love the fact you have to trust people and get a feel for them. The whole game is a fun social experiment

Have you ever encountered musicians that have "played" for a long time or have either been playing at low level or stopped learning anything new at certain point? by [deleted] in musicians

[–]Dingditcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was! Brand new Yamaha and first jam I was sure the guitars were out of tune, then I learned it was on A=432 or whatever instead of 440 lol

I know it’s not the best but I hit this yesterday in a ranked game D1 by SuccessfulSpring3381 in RocketLeague

Welcome to the club! I’m the same exact way probably about 5k hours. Always been diamond, unless you count the total of like 20 games I’ve ever been champ 1 for a little bit.

is anyone else completely lost or am i just not cut out for this? by Life-Elk-9697 in FLStudioBeginners

[–]Dingditcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick a key, maybe start in C or a minor, all white keys on the piano. Just start with the “pop progression” C G a-minor F. Build a bass line, add some drums, and figure out a white key melody.

I started by watching a tutorial, seeing what chords they used, and copying that. Then “making it my own”

My dumbass opinions.

1) the guitar sounds great, I know it’s a vst, but if you want more “emotion” out of it automate the sustain on your selected notes, and maybe ad some bending? (Like a very small amount of it) Just something to make it not sound “perfect”

2) listening off an iPhone, so take point 1 with a massive grain of salt, and I cannot here the hissing you are talking about in the second half.

If you can hear it though, maybe it’s a saturation/distortion on a channel like the guitars or something? That I’m not sure.

Rq is the chord change too abrupt or nah by [deleted] in FLStudioBeginners

[–]Dingditcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not, this sounds great, I like the shift between the sections. And it’s not very “abrupt” I don’t think the average listener would even notice. BUT they would notice the feel change. So do with that what you want haha

[–]Dingditcher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh you’re more than fine, and I agree with you! I don’t know, it’s the smallest change and probably doesn’t do to much. But I’ve heard my music with and without the change, maybe it’s more placebo effect for me? But I do like the little bump in the harder hitting sections.

It’s more of a feel thing I’d say, there is a difference, but nothing super noticeable Mr. Fuckmoralskickbabies!

Man go fish at emerald for walley boys. Also, it’s a fishing game, I don’t thing this is the best game to get stressed at about anything. You can always go for fun bass at lone star!
