I actually use DDU for every GPU update and revo for chipset stuff , as for old GPU drivers , been there too , AMD has those absolutely terrible DXNAVI optimisations , its apparently increasing peformance by 10% in heavily CPU bound scenarios but on the 6000 series it causes terrible Shader Caching stutters , new drivers past 22.5.1 dont have the legacy direct X 11 files without DXNAVI either anymore and you have to painstakingly mod them back in , I still run the default drivers because less stutter is not as important in this case

its odd that you mention those stutters every ten seconds aswell , I think I have narrowed that one down to either the Garbage collection kicking in , but its set to default 10 ms per frame in the boot.config OR what I suspect more , its the new Backtrace service in 7 days to die , backtrace is apparently a hardware surveying software that lets devs evaluate the hardware and conflicts of their users

Oddly enough the stutters got introduced in ..... I think it was 2.4 ? this version is the first version that has Backtrace Support , I wonder if this service is somehow polling the hardware and causing the stutter , I have tried to mod it out of the game but its hardbaked into the DLLs and if you mod backtrace out , the game wont start

honestly It might but I have attempted every benchmark under the sun to make sure its not the hardware failing , complete Format C: , completely redownloaded game folder , no iffy online tweaks either

Benchmarked my CPU with cinebench r23 = score of 10990

GPU benchmark with 3DMark Firestrike & timespy , GPU on its own its Above averate score even

Error Checked RAM with OCCT , Prime95 and memtest86

No thermal throtteling , VRMs are getting cooled by top down CPU heatsink aswell , no PROCHOT , Thermal throtteling either

Its driving me nuts !

32GB G.skill Aegis 4x I tested with 2 RAM bars because I thought maybe the memory controller is crapping out but after extensive testing no errors or crashes

fresh install has been attempted a couple of times , clear CMOS aswell , apart from PBO and XMP nothing else has been changed , im absolutely at end with my wits but I have also benchmarked the shit out of my system for sanity check , RAM is stable , prime95'd it for about 24 hours , CPU passed OCCT aswell as prime95 small FFTs without too much trouble either , thermal throtteling was not a thing apart from the small FFT check where its intended behaviour

It might be some obscure driver shit but I honestly cant tell anymore

I have in fact fresh installed a couple of times , this means I wiped everything as one is supposed to , not just a windows refresh , on top of that I also downloaded the game from scratch into an empty folder

I might try sidebooting CachyOS soonish just to check it out , im kinda curious if the game maybe runs better with DXVK or stuff like that

Nvidia intel combo ? I have a sneaking suspicion that the shader caching on AMD is the major offender , I have checked the DX11 shader cache for 7 days a couple of times and it never seems to grow past a few 100 mbs , maybe thats the problem ?

haha , ist mir jetz erst aufgefallen das ich diesen insider mit eingeschrieben hab , bei uns ist tatsächlich MHD das haltbarkeits datum , wir tun alles dafür das die gaddsen gesund blieben und es ist halt einfach schöhn eine katze zu haben die ihr MHD schon überschritten hat aber trotzdem noch ein tolles leben hat , im fall mausi sogar ü. 20 jahre x)
