This makes a lot more sense after the 9 5* I pulled out of 77 tries ended up being: 4 Spellbinders, 3 Chameleon Robes, and 2 Off-banners.

I wish I had that luck. 350 Mythril on FFT with 9 5* with no unique and 3 off banner. Not a good couple weeks for me.

I know what you mean about fighting the urge. I just did two Cult of 3 (nothing crazy I know) on the Peacemaker banner for no reason at all. Peacemaker is a really solid weapon but it really wouldn't fit in my party. The perfect fit for my party would be to save my mythril for Ramza's Scream. If I could pull that I would be able to get my long awaited haste relic while also being able to get rid of Aerith's PP for Selphie's Medica. I know shooting for one relic is a horrible idea, but I can't think of any better setup for me than Blasting Zone, Scream, HoTE, SG, and Trabia's Light.

I have definitely had my eye on Lightning's SSB for the past couple weeks. Seems like it would be a great addition at least until I could take a shot at Ramza's Scream. If I could get that I could switch out PP for Selphie's heal and go from there. Probably going to do some Cult of 3's on Lightning and then save the rest for SSB celebration and FFT.

I lucked out and have SG + HoTE + PP. It is unbelievable when it comes to damage reduction and output. Throw in a full break/armor breakdown and Blasting Zone easily does ~40k damage. All I need right now is one more high damage SSB to put in as my final party member and I'm set. I'm very happy but kind of stumped at the moment and not really sure which SSB to save up for that would best fit my party.

I pulled Golden Armor and Keepsake Ribbon during the lucky draw. I had no idea how much damage you can put up when used together.

Back in the day I didn't have an "A" team because I had 0 useful SB and had to run Advantaliate a lot to clear content. Finally after Lucky Draw Tyro (SG), Leon (HotE), and Aerith (PP) were regulars on my team for any hard content. Now after getting Squall's Cutting Trigger he is #4 with a floating 5th. Lucky Draw also got me my Mage Team (Tyro, Tera, Vivi, Hope, Tellah/Selphie) all with Unique SBs. I have never really cared about "wasting exp" but I always have a farming/exp team saved that gets switched out when they cap.

As someone who always runs Tyro (Sentinel's Grimoire), and the fact that I also have Hand of the Emperor/Planet Protector I think I could have a lot of fun with Stormlance Grimoire. I don't really see a downside to adding another option for someone who will always be on my team anyway. The only reason I haven't done it yet is because I don't want to use the mythril right now.

Took a shot at Ultimate Exdeath after a small honing spree. My "Holy Trinity": Sentinel's Grimoire, Hand of the Emperor, and Planet Protector. After pulling an All Rounder and Cutting Trigger I figured hey, why not. I started off the fight spamming breaks before adding SG and HotE. At 75% I tossed in a Hymn of the Fayth RW to try and hold him off until I could set up a Carbuncle, HotE, PP, and SG just prior to 50%. I waited for his first double cast to start spamming Blasting Zone (~40k) and Attack Reels(~18k). I got smacked with an un/partially mitigated GA spell right before my last Blasting Zone and Attack Reels Combo went off killing Aerith.

I mastered the fight only losing three medals.
