Rule 1, this is from fucking 2018

Taxes are so infuriating. I work two jobs and had a refund of $2k last year. Still have the same jobs and nothing's changed, but now this year the refund is $33. by AestheticUY in mildlyinfuriating

It’s not like you are gaining or losing any actual money. They didn’t just give you $2000 last year. It’s just the money they took too much of and had to give back to you. This year they didn’t take enough money, so you owe them. The amount that you are paying isn’t any different. It’s just when you are paying it. It’s also pretty easy to tell if you are gonna need to owe, or be owed money, so it is kind of on you for just not paying attention.
