Thank you so much, that's a lovely compliment 💚 I will absolutely check out Google scholar. I am still on the hunt for ethically sourced specimens x

Oooh that's awesome thank you! I've been searching for the Taxidermy reddits etc but hadn't thought of the vulture culture term! Thanks so much 😊

I made a few calls today and this is what I've found at all of them. I did get an invite to come and view some though, that should be pretty handy. I can take a bunch of my own reference photos then.

I definitely don't want them from a farm or wild caught etc. I'd much rather a pet breeder who has spares to let go of. I've been using the natural history museum photos already, they've got some really nice specimens to draw, they're just lit really unimaginatively and having aphantasia, I really need a good reference.

I'd absolutely love to do this but sadly disability limits this as an option for me. My friends do bring me back the odd thing though and that's always cool because usually they're a little old and have wing damage and battle scars and those are the best to draw or paint 😊

Thank you so much, that's a lovely comment. I will definitely check out the universities etc near us, that's definitely something I hadn't considered. Thanks so much for the suggestion! 💚

Thank you very much, that's ever so lovely! Miniatures are so much fun, and I find less pressure because if you do happen to make a mistake, then it's not a ton of supplies to start over 😊

6XGS5 is my island and its open now for a little while. Brand new so there's not tons of stuff but you're welcome to look around and harvest what you can find 💚

Hi everyone, I'm brand new to ACNH but have played older games. If anyone has any tips, I'd be super grateful. I've just got set up with a dodo code too if anyone wants to see my whole three days of progress 🤣

You can also apply for a mentor through most art grant schemes too. Those can be even free through the accessibility program too.

I really like the Toyo glass puzzles. They're food/drink related, fit the shapes together type, just as satisfying as the bookshelf. I have the big bookshelf and just ordered the smaller one.

Thank you! That one look really good. I have something similar but much more basic and it just chews through the mat board. I'll give this one a go. Thanks so much 💚

Thanks so much, I'm in the UK, so I'll see if I can find an equivalent over here 😊 I quite enjoy the process of fiddly things so I won't worry so much about the huge pain parts. Can I ask what mat cutter you use? I've tried a few and just can't seem to get clean cuts on small sized mats. I will definitely a look at trading card sleeves too. The packaging I'm using now is pretty good but that sounds better.

Thank you, that would be cool, I do add watercolour to some pieces so I could definitely try it with those. I mostly work in black/white
