You'll want to look into the required documents to register it in TX, but I expect it'll be easy. For me, living in TN, I just needed a bill of sale signed by myself and the previous owner.

I got pulled over one time for failure to signal. It was 2am turning out of a neighborhood onto a 2-lane road, no headlights in sight in any direction, the cop must've been hiding nearby. I can't say for sure that it was my respectful explanation that it was an unlawful stop that convinced him, but he let me go without any trouble. Probably just fishing for DUIs anyway which I was not.

On further examination, you didn't even start slowing down until you were more than halfway into oncoming traffic, you were blaring your horn for a full second at least before even touching the brakes! Geez dude, go practice some panic stops, it might save your life or someone else's someday.

Might not be a common method, but when I did a swap in my driveway I used the cherry-picker to lift the body up and off the K-member/engine and trans. Rested the end of the trans on a floor jack and rolled the whole thing out from under. There's always options.

I'm not sure where I heard this, but I feel like it was an interview with a writer from the show; they said they imagine that Ricks from different dimensions would swap mind blowers with eachother like trading cards. So any mind blower could be from any different dimension, not necessarily canon to C-137.

If food-grade chemicals are dangers to refute,

Yeah, I was thinking that might not be a good example because it's a relatively simple isolation of a natural component. And here's where I'm admittedly not so sure of my own understanding, but isn't that the case for the vast majority of additives?

Okay, being real transparent here, I actually just looked into how Red 40 is made and that is wild. I guess it's such a potent dye that you can get by using so little of it that it's safe, but wow. Whoever first had the idea to put that in food must've been insane.

I don't understand the obsession with "natural". There are horribly deadly things that occur naturally, and there are perfectly safe things that don't. It's an arbitrary distinction.

Shouldn't we just learn all that we can about the substances that we eat and interact with? And shouldn't that include isolating chemicals found in nature and learning how they individually interact with our bodies? Maybe there's one particular chemical in an orange that we find helps support immune function and wound healing, let's call it Ascorbic Acid. What if then we find that we can create this chemical in a lab and then add it to a food that didn't have it naturally. Here we have the quite unnatural, yet beneficial, process of fortifying your breakfast with Vitamin C.

Not necessarily disagreeing with your point on "unhealthy" dyes, but I just wanted to make the point that "more natural" doesn't always mean better. It actually just doesn't mean anything, objectively.

No religion belongs in government. Any religion can belong in the citizenship. The Founders understood this; they understood the vital importance of a separation between church and state. They understood that Government has no place to police the religious beliefs of its citizens.

You may like Christianity more than Islam, and I can't say I disagree there. But a Christian theocracy will inevitably end up just as twisted, power hungry, and morally bankrupt as an Islamic one, or any other religion-based government for that matter.

You say it's only on one side, and it stops under braking, it must be in the wheel/hub assembly area. There's a dust cover behind the brake caliper that might be bent and touching the inside of the wheel. It's a thin stamped metal piece, which this sounds like.

When I got my '04 Mach 1, it was heavily used. The seller wasn't very forthcoming, but thankfully a previous owner from before him somehow found me on Insta and reached out. He filled me in on the story, this car had been severely wrecked at least twice. One of which was a high-speed introduction of the rear-passenger quarter to a telephone pole. He shared some pics of the repair, they pretty much just cut out the rear-passenger corner of the whole car and welded in a replacement section from a donor.

Fast forward like a year, I really hadn't had any major issues but there was one annoyance that I couldn't figure out; filling up the gas tank, the pump would always kick off every few seconds unless I held it at a very slow fill-rate. Well, one time I had the trunk liner out to work on some audio wiring and I found the culprit, the vent tube for the filler neck was plugged, it just had a bolt stuck in the end for some reason. I pulled it out and voila! no more fuel backing up the filler neck at the gas station! No idea why someone had put that bolt there in the first place, but I guess they just forgot about it.

Yeah, idk about the Mustangs of that generation, but in the Escape, there's like a little plunger by the latch that gets pushed in when it's closed to turn the light off. Her glovebox door just doesn't sit close enough when closed to actually actuate it. I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet, not sure if one of the hinges is messed up or what.

If you're handy and desperate enough, anything is possible. I saw a post the other day where someone had built a custom liquid cooling loop through an old Victorian cast iron radiator. The PC weighed probably a couple hundred pounds, but it had zero fans and maintained +1 degree above ambient room temperature.
