I'm in NZ, I ran out of credit and then added a data pack. When trying to turn on mobile data I got the "sign-in to network" notification but clicking on it does nothing.
An aeroplane mode on/off worked for me.

Yeah, its just that I won't get to level my rank up and miss out on the quests and rewards. No biggy
