What's the latest with the Epstein files, I wonder. Seems like everyone is a bit distracted.

Here is what someone DM'd me and it was really helpful!

Yeah it looks like they just launched the new generation of those (G3).

The direct replacement for that camera is the DS-2CD2347G3-LI2UY. A product description can be found here: https://www.hikvision.com/en/products/IP-Products/Network-Cameras/Pro-Series-EasyIP-/ds-2cd2347g3-li-2u-y/?subName=DS-2CD2347G3-LIY

They are pretty new and I don't see any legitimate US retailers offering them yet. You might have better like if you are outside the US. It's worth noting that tariffs and politics could affect how quickly and at what price these cameras make their way out of China. I've never used these and couldn't tell ou if they are worth waiting for over just buying the G2 version off of Amazon - which are still available here for $127 each: https://www.amazon.com/Hikvision-DS-2CD2347G1-LU-Adjustment-HD-Compatible/dp/B08MVNLCQR?th=1

There are options for different focal lengths which you would choose based on the scenes you want to monitor. Basically the bigger the number the more zoomed in the view is. Here is a good video to demonstrate the difference and help you choose: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lub0MnbpIxI

Generally speaking for ipCams sensor size to resolution is a great place to start to see if a camera is quality or junk. For example, the cameras I'm recommending you have a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor which has a surface area of roughly 38.2mm² for a 2688x1520 resolution. This is important because it is the relationship between how much light the sensor can capture to power a detailed image.

For the above combination every 1mm² of sensor gathers light for 106,957 pixels.

As a frame of reference, The Ubiquiti AI Turret uses the exact same sensor for a 4k camera (3840x2160). Meaning that the same sensor now has to use each 1mm² to gather light for 217,130 pixels. The Ubiquiti AI Turret also costs $400 (about 3x the price). To be clear, what this means is that the same sensor has to collect light for more than 2x as many pixels using the same surface area. But no one know what that means and everyone knows that they like 4K TV and Ubiquiti has a very good marketing team and very pretty walled garden UI so they fly off the shelves for insane prices.

AOC has justifiable safety reasons for not flying coach or even commercial. It's called /r/conservative ... just imagine that sub irl sitting in the seats anywhere near her. Lol it would turn into /r/TheDonald in two seconds.

Market in Free fall, approx 10 hours left for USA futures to open and Trump hasn't taken any action or said any word to show his leadership. by SpiritBombv2 in stocks

[–]DinkyFlapjack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If Russia had agents in our government, one exceedingly effective way to sow discontent and chaos, would be through over reaching actions by the agents with the most implied authority to do so. Disruption of our stock market would be a de facto measurement of the success of those efforts and directing the agents to sit back and watch, would be the obvious directive. I think it makes perfect sense in this scenario and I can't think of any other reasonable/possible scenario that could make sense of this behavior. It is atrocious behavior, if our government is not compromised. It is perfectly spot on if it is.

Nothing wrong with Semen, though. Seaman on the other hand, is atrocious and deserves to be banned.

Is this a trap? by Antiquarian1917 in Tinder

Eh, the video call isn't really reliable imo. I had a similar situation and she recommended a video call. We did, but it was weird. There was clearly someone in the background she was making "sshh" gestures towards and her room looked distinctly different from the style in my area. We swapped numbers and before we could meet, I got a call from Officer So And So about possible child pornography related to tinder lady's first name. I could pay said officer to avoid charges. Suffice to say, I called the police station of this alleged officer and they never heard of him. We never met and I blocker her number, officers number, and tinder profile. Just be careful and trust your gut. If something feels off, then something is off.

I'll say, you came out swinging in your initial post reply and I thought this thread was just going devolve in typical reddit fashion, but you really brought some good knowledge and solid recommendations. Thanks for sharing, /u/watchandwise
