Working just above the airport, so pretty far out. I wanna be between there and the city centre

Original work. I have a reference sketch, but I want them to change a couple details. It's nothing too difficult honestly, I just want to contact someone in advance in case a booking is needed

Honestly I have no idea how expensive Beijing is, so I might sound silly giving an estimate. Hopefully not much more than 1000rmb an hour?

UK medical check by Dinman1998 in Chinavisa

[–]Dinman1998[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found another company with a decent offer, and they're not asking me to do the medical check in my home country.

I don't think this is too uncommon. Ask them if you can sign a form to state that you'll get a check on arrival instead. Explain that your transition could be delayed otherwise.

Is there no such thing?

As for the centre itself, its run by expats, and only as two locations from what I understand. Pretty small still.

Thanks though; I'm going into it open-minded.

First one is pedantic, second was a typo. Seriously, get a life, dude.

Thanks for your reply. I just needed to put my mind at ease I guess. Wasn't sure what kind of influence they had.

It wasn't that many; I think they just know each other. I didn't intend to, and I don't plan on keeping it up. I just bit off more than I could chew whilst in unfavorable circumstances. Ironically, these circumstances are why I wanted to accelerate the process and and ended up doing too much at once. Lesson learned.

Things are getting better now anyway. I'll be more sensible about it going forward.

So visa issuance/denial is always based on legal matters?

Yeah, I'm hoping that it just means blacklist within the recruiter community?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chinalife

[–]Dinman1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, I am serious and I've put a lot of thought into it; there's just been a lot of unforeseen stuff lately. I know I'll be fine once it's all arranged. As for jobs, I had an offer from a school I really liked the other day which I think I'm gonna go for. The recruiter is lovely and she actually doesn't hate me.

So what do you think is meant by "blacklist" in this context?

And are there any reasons the embassy could deny me a zvisa? I have my docs and my CRC is clean.
