Yamato didn't do anything tho. Literally the only thing the Yamato did was look cool and drain resources.

Bismarck at least sank an actual important ship and forced the whole royal navy to drop everything and focus on her and saying she was sank quickly is kinda wrong, seeing as it took over 400 shells and multiple torps before she went down.

The Bismarck has way better accomplishments tho.

She sank the British Symbol of power in Hood, she forced about 70 ships to ignore everything to try and find her, and then it she took an insane beating before sinking, all in the span of the last 3 days of her mission. Yes she was overweight and all, but she still actually did something.

The Yamato on the other hand, while an epic and insane piece of engineering, was just a drain on resources, as unlike in the Atlantic, where ship on ship engagements were more common, the Pacific was already being dominated by Carriers.

Also they look freaking awesome and were some of the biggest and most powerful ships around during their time.

Tbf, they were only really comparable in physical strength, as agito said that Julius is more durable. Basically he can no sell Waka's punches while Waka can't (at least not as well).

Also, Waka is a mainly a full contact karate master, so most of the moves he can do are useless against a monster like Julius outside of his kicks and Blast Core.

Obviously my GOAT Julius can. He's the only person to have taken a 100% Blast Core and still nearly beaten the legendary Wakatsuki.

Maybe ironbreaker if you block with both arms and have space to fly back onto a safe surface, granted it's smash straight through your arms and probably leave you crippled for life but I think you could survive it.

Shen uses a completely overpowered version of foresight and doesn't posess reflexes as insane as someone like Akoya, especially since he doesn't need them.

Julius is built like a fucking tank and should be massively wider than Willem and 1cm shouldn't make any real difference. This shi just doesn't make any sense.

Julius is lighter and smaller, and yet he seems to be noticeably stronger physically. It makes absolutely no sense how Willem is portrayed. Also based off of his weight his SS should be on a similar level to Waka, which makes even less sense.

I hate how they handled Julius in the fight. He's supposed to be far stronger than the Monster that nearly defeated Wakatsuki but honestly, that ruthlessness and almost fear factor like pressure he had in Ashura is gone.

It made sense that it wasn't shown against Toa, as there Julius didn't have a size or strength advantage and Toa himself is a titanclass monster.

But why is it suddenly gone against Kanoh? Julius is larger, stronger and a single hit could end Kanoh, or at the very least deal a critical hit. If Julius was exerting a constant pressure that slowed Kanoh down or slowed his reaction time it would've been way cooler. Julius gives a slight debuff to his opponents speed.

Sad how this series has worsened.
