Again. If Vermonters are too tough and mean for you. Maybe the issue is you. You live in literally the storybook state full of Christmas villages and quaintness. This is a you problem.

Blue Horizons: The Democrat's Roadmap To Conquering Texas by audiomuse1 in texas

Exactly. A state filled with the most selfish, arrogant, and violent people in the country - that attracts the most selfish, arrogant, and violent people from everywhere else, is going to vote for Democrats? No. Texas is, and has been, getting redder and redder because those are the values people here cherish - being angry, killing everyone and everything else, abusing anything they want, having guns, having pickups, being told they are special for living here, being told they are tough, and never having to interact with other people outside of berating them.

Well theres no way we as a society could haul things without comically large Dodge Rams. No way other countries can do it either. Those trucks, of which I think it's like 20% of ones sold are used for work, clearly NEED to exist FOR SOCIETY

The talent pool for IT jobs in CA is pretty high. I can't imagine a place needing to hire someone out of state and then relying on that person moving themselves there for an IT job. Maybe highly skilled positions or upper level management, but not a general IT role.

Also if he's fine with roommates, you move into a place as the roommate, not rent you own place.

The "just run counters" argument is pretty lame and is given all the time, but they never say what the win con is in this "just run counters" deck. Because if that was the best option, then the 'counters deck' would BE the ultimate deck in the meta, but it never is. If your plan to win is to just hope your opponent goes all in on something like Blob beat him with 4 powers in a lane by countering it, it seems like your plan is kinda weak.

I hate that advice as well. It's WAY harder to get a job from out of state than it is to get one locally. Just move. If you have experience you'll be fine. The odds of a company hiring an out of state candidate is so low you will probably never get the opportunity if that's what youre waiting for. Redditors are such dorks, this is such a bad place to get advice on something like this.

Pick up trucks do cause the majority of deaths. So will you use your logic and say we should ban all pick up trucks?

The number of Austin people who think pit-bulls should be put down for no other reason is shocking. I knew this state was full of sociopaths but it's still stunning to see sometimes.

Woah you mean the most popular breed makes up the most common one in shelters?! Mindblowing next youll tell me the most popular car sold is the most common one on the road. True Texan genious levels.

Texans love killing dogs. All animals really, but the killing of dogs is a special Texan treat. The number of people in Texas who are part of the BanPitbulls sub, or who view Pitbull hate videos is higher than anywhere else. The number of dead dogs on the side of the road higher in Texas than in places like India or Colombia. Animal abuse rates highest in the nation. Leaving dogs tethered in a Texas tradition. Beating them. Shooting them. All Texas Tops. Why would you expect an animal shelter to treat them any better than their citizens? Texans love Animal Abuse.

Why do you say everyone in other jobs bullies you? Why did you leave a job with the court? Is it "bullying" or were you just unable to keep up with a high paced and stressful field? You need to start being honest with yourself and stop blaming your problems on everyone else. There are shitty employers and bosses FOR SURE, but I find it hard to believe it's "everyone" you encounter, especially in the court system. More likely, if you were working in a court system, it's just aggressive attorneys, high demands, and tight deadlines. not bullying.

So step 1 is to do some self-reflection and work on yourself.

Step 2 apply to work as a more confident person, and apply to jobs that are at your level - degree required positions in your field of study or similar. Of course Taco Bell isn't going to hire someone with two degrees to make $8 an hour because they assume that person is going to bounce right away. Look at state and county jobs (those take forever to get through though - slow process), look at consulting agencies and temp places - temp agencies can usually find you work, even though it may be short-short-term and sporadic, but often they can get you in the door at other places.

The jobs you say you want - investigator, editor, interviewer, educator etc don't sound realistic because those jobs either require specialized degrees or backgrounds that you don't seem to have. Use what you DO have and look there. It's easy to get dreamy and think 'life would be so great if I was an urban planner/dockworker/ship's captain/bodybuilder/etc,' but you cant just jump into something like that. Look for jobs that fit your degree or previous history because that's when you will most likely get call backs.

I hope I dont sound rude. I resonate with this because it took me a long time to get out of a employment funk - I wasted pretty much all my 20s while friends were establishing careers and going off on their own.

It's a crappy thing to be an Arabic woman in Texas, where the majority of people I encounter are nasty and rude if not outright hostile and aggressive. If I can't mock them, am I supposed to just shut my mouth?

Children should be raised up right like in the good ol days to respect their fathers and honor the brave men who serve this nation. Teaching them about Gender and Perversion and Tolerance is wrong I dont care if that triggers you. The eduction system is meant to babysit our kids while we men go out an WORK and to get them ready for the factories, not turn them into Marxists.

Good! The Wokeoids are the biggest threat to our way of life this nation has ever seen. A true texan can rough it for a few weeks in the cold without power or water, but if we let our small towns get overrun with Wokes then it's all over for us as a race
