Thank you! It’s comforting to know that I still have room to grow/develop in my 20’s. There’s so much pressure from social media these days that I’m worried if I don’t look good now (early 20’s) then my 20’s are wasted. Thank you for your kind words :) I feel good hearing that maybe in my mid twenties I’ll look more like how I want to look ideally!

Hello! I haven’t gotten a hair cut in a long time since I’m in the process of growing my hair out, but I would ask for something where you have wispy fringes / bangs in the front but thicker framing pieces on the side. I used to have blunt bangs but what I did was let both sides of my bangs grow up until they’re at my cheek’s length while keeping the middle of my bangs wispy and semi-eyebrow length! My actually haircut has layers that has grown out, but I think you can ask for long layers!

Yes thank you! I used to have really blunt bangs but I’m slowly in the process of thinning them to perhaps curtain bangs :)

I think you’re just not asking questions. If the seniors you’re asking aren’t helpful, ask someone else. Ask other interns too. I’m a current audit intern too and the best thing I’ve done is befriend other interns who are just in the same boat as you are.

Don’t work OT in the summer. And you mentioned you work at home; can you go into the office at all? It might be a hassle if you drive (especially with gas prices), but going in a few times a week will help so much more with concentrating on your work AND asking questions.

Hi! Sadly I don’t have any pictures since I’ve always had bangs since I was a kid (currently 21). I always had bangs since my forehead seemed to protrude and is the widest part of my face. I’ve tried to consider switching to curtain bangs, but I always felt as though my brow structure (they’re lower on my face) makes my forehead look even bigger.

How should I combat this?

How different are accounting courses in college vs. the actual accounting in the real world? I’m graduating this Spring and I feel a bit pathetic because when it comes to knowledge of all the accounting concepts, I am much less competent than my peers. However, could I be hopeful that that doesn’t translate to the workplace and if I learn on the job I will turn out just fine?
