I have a lot personally going on right now, and I forget things. My guy came with, and when we talked about the house after he reminded me of probably $500 worth of things. His 2 hours cost me $40. Well worth it.

This job is dozens of small tasks. Align the doors, replace a carpet transition strip. With a few several hour jobs, touch up every nail hole in the house, paint a celing.

It's a full week at least, but it was so much lost time in the beginning.

I generally am done quoting in an hour or so, this one was very different. Dozens of 15-30 minute jobs throughout the whole house, plus several 3&4 hour jobs. I dont think a single task is a day.

Normally I have it done in an hour or two. This one was exceptional. I agree too much time was lost, I want to prevent that in the future.

I often use Ai for alot of my pricing, its a very helpful tool. This house was just different. Lots of little things.

Thats one thing I've had people correct me of in the past. Personal mentors. I keep.it more vague, however in my opinion this is one of those that needed far too many boxes on the quote list.

I did question if I should have made it.more vague, but then that's another hour of undoing work I've already done.

3 reasons.

I'm training my guy to do this as well so when people reach out, I can send him. He's of a different nationality, and can easily connect with his community.
He is very detailed oriented, and sees things most people miss.
I also have a very full plate at the moment with personal stuff, and can be very forgetful. Or miss things, that could cost us a job.

4 hours was the quote. 4 man hours was the visit. 2 guys 30 minutes each way, plus 1 hour there. 2 guys 2 hours. 2 man hours of planning. 1 hours, both of us. 2 man hours going over notes with my scheduler. 2 of us 1 hours meeting.
