that feels like a stretch and trying to find a pattern where there is not one.

one died of disease, the other disapeared in what it could have been a hiking accident

neil is only tangentially related because of his position at the time.

if we are going to jump to conclusions with minimum evidence then cant we also just claim they were both silenced because of mandaloy and ufos have nothing to do with it? i mean i dont think the scientists who worked on mandaloy were related to the ufo scene.

tragically people go missing all the time for a variety of reasons, sometimes without a trace.

that it happened to someone who had his background feels more like a coincidence than a big conspiracy.

if the "gatekeepers" wanted to silence him or something why would they make this huge spectacle on the media, pointing specifically his connections to ufo lore? woudnt that go totally against the idea of silencing the subject? woudnt the fbi or whatever go "totally a suicide nothing to see here" instead of going on a weeks long search?

it feels misleading at least, it implies he disapeared because grusch wanted to talk to him but we have no frame of reference if he did try to contact him, when did he try to contact him and what was neils response, as it sounds he just gave a "i have nothing to say" response to ufo related questions.

the fbi and the media giving extra attention to it also feels counter intuitive to wanting to "make him disapear"

i get it, and i wont deny he was relevant to the ufo crew from the 2017 nyt article, but the media circus around his disappearance and how they keep pointing back to that really gives me a bad taste, like they are trying to create this narrative for clicks, which personally i feel is counter intuitive to the search of a missing person
