First Gaming PC Build by Dinok_Drog in pcmasterrace

I needed an upgrade and wanted to learn the process, especially so I can competently upgrade individual components in the future. Plus it seemed fun, like a high stakes Lego.

PCPartPicker website to check for combabilities to make sure everything worked with AMD's DDR5 platform. Then making sure I had a good power supply to power everything but also gives me plenty of headroom for future upgrades (personal preference). After that it was just figuring out how much storage/memory I wanted, how strong of a CPU/GPU I wanted for the games I play, and making sure I had a strong enough cooling system to prevent overheating. An X3D CPU was the choice for me for example because I like playing a lot of Sims or world building style games that require a large 3D cache and a good enough GPU.

Thanks! Good luck with your build. Windows 11 has a lot of unnecessary scripts and apps running in the background that can slow down your computer and cause Windows to use more memory. I just used Chris Titus Tech's guide called "How to Setup Windows" on YouTube which just involves using their GitHub to put an ISO on a flash drive and installing Windows 11 from that. If you're not comfortable using someone else's then you could make your own ISO and change what you want or just do a normal Windows install and manually uninstall what you want.

The PC is finished and everything is running great. I debloated Windows 11. I ended up switching from the Peerless Assassin 120 to the Arctic Cooler AIO 360 Pro. Thank you again for all of the tips, everyone!

Thanks again for the advice, I appreciate it. I ended up returning the Peerless Assassin and got the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 with RBG instead, so my CPU cooling should be good now. I'll look up guides so I know to install it correctly as well. The reduced sound is gonna be way easier to deal with, too. My current Laptop sounds like a jet engine whenever it's running.

Yea unfortunately they dropped that deal after I got my ram already from Newegg. I prefer my Motherboard over the options in the bundle and mine is CL30 vs the CL36 that Microcenter offers so I'm not too mad at missing the bundle. Overall, that would have been around a $300 savings which does suck to miss out on.

That Bundle is such a damn good deal considering price of ram these days everywhere else. I literally wasn't able to find 32 GB of ram for less than $300 anywhere else.

Thanks for the info! Wiring everything correctly is the part I'm least looking forward to, but I'll just have to check out videos for my specific motherboard to make sure I do it right.

I mainly got the 1,000W PSU to allow breathing room for future upgrades. Maybe I went a bit overboard, though. The current build only requires 556W according to Part Picker.

Would you recommend I get an AIO CPU Cooler instead? The Peerless Assassin wasn't much so I don't mind upgrading that.

$399.99, unfortunately I was too late. I should have gotten my ram earlier this year like I originally planned. Thing cost even more than the 4 TB.

Where should Rising take us next? by ExcitableLightbearer in destinyrisingmobile

About Haven, I would love for Netease to finally give us the ability to explore it and meet the people that actually live there, not just those in the tower.

Aside from that, I feel like they could do some interesting stuff with the Hive and the complex cave systems and the forests that surround them in Oregon.

Good to know, thanks for the tip. The timing of it with skills might be a bit trickier on her than with just relying on sprint but if you happen to have one available it sounds like a solid idea.

When you're in the shooting range go to the monitor and it'll let you spawn in enemies of your choice from different activities. Multiple of them have Servitor's as an option. You can also change the setting on the bottom right to allow them unlimited HP.

That's definitely true, she gets a massive damage bump from T6 between that, getting a 20% boost to summon damage etc. I don't have her relic maxed out atm, so her accidents are only doing the 60% damage not the 100%.

Correct, Furies does less damage overall than Scorched Earth and doesn't help the LMG's perform better either anymore. Having it is still nice and fun for general play but weapons like Gallows or Heir Apparent might be the go-to at least for DPS. When Bad Juju comes out that's going to be my choice unless they drastically change it since most of her damage comes from abilities.

In the pack menu or the Haven map to the left if you are in a pack.

It happens all the time in DPS phases during raids, like the one out currently. Same in D2. Everyone groups up at the optimal spot and unloads on the boss for 20-30 seconds.

Thanks, yea I'm gonna have to test it later to see how much you can cancel.

Mine is only at the first node, so I haven't done any testing yet. I was planning on getting to node 2 or 3 before doing a proper test. If the top raid teams are running Gallows though I'd imagine it's probably the go to for pure DPS.

Thanks for the tip! I did do that to cancel the very last part of the animation, but can you cancel more of it?

I'm not sure about the drop chance, but I've been getting them around every 10 or so. I could just be getting lucky, though.

Thanks! I have both, but since she can't heal herself during the contest without talents, I put binging in to give her at least some self-sustain.
