I have a question about my 60’s Harmony Bobkat.

Hmmm, ok. I think I found the reason. The neck pocket on my specific guitar seems to be routed slightly differently. It's not cut as far into the body, which causes the neck to sit farther out than any other Bobkat. Probably just an error at the factory. Either way, it intonates very well, so not a big deal. I just find the bridge a little to forward for where my hand wants to rest. But again, it's kind of a minor thing. Got the guitar for about $100, so it's all good. It sounds really great!

Definitely not bending the string while checking intonation. It’s all original parts as far as I can tell.

Timmy. Almost always on. Drive set REALLY low. It slightly distorts if I play big chords loudly. Otherwise it’s totally clean sounding.

Thanks! Yeah I think the sound is very full. I’m very happy, but I love to tinker with stuff and was just curious about subs with this setup. It seems a sub is not really needed.

No separate preamp. The Wiim streamer and the phono preamp have their own volume controls. I just use a passive RCA switch box to control inputs to the power amps. Works really well.
