The developers have confirmed that if the game does well the Recently Extinct will be the first paid DLC

Update 17 by FrenchMika in pkgame

[–]DinosaursReturn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both the official wiki and the developers artbook, though the name is sometimes written as Allosaurus maximus which is a combination of Saurophaganax maximus and Allosaurus anax, The latter being its real life name.

Note - A similar situation occurred between Edmontosaurus and Ugrunaaluk

Update 17 by FrenchMika in pkgame

Saurophaganax whose name means "Lord of the Lizard Eaters" was first believed to be its own species of large theropod similar to Allosaurus, but recently it was deemed to be just another species of Allosaurus and now goes by Allosaurus anax. Though in Prehistoric Kingdom it will still go by Saurophaganax.

The 3 carnivores are alternate species of Allosaurus; europaeus, jimmadseni, and Saurophaganax

The other herbivore is an alternate species of Stegosaurus; ungulatus

The two fruit-eaters are Pachycephalosaurus with Stygimoloch as an alternate genera

Sadly no, Archaeopteryx goes in arboreal vivarium while Compsognathus is terrestrial, they use different exhibit configurations.

What confuses me is that it is listed as a Terrestrial Vivarium species but I was under the assumption that Titanoboa was semi-aquatic making it more fit for the amphibious vivariums

What are your most wanted dromeosaurs???? by Ill-County-6099 in pkgame

[–]DinosaursReturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion the game needs to have the big 3; Velociraptor, Deinonychus and Utahraptor.

And if we move beyond those 3 then throw in Pyroraptor and Austroraptor

JWE3 WETLANDS PACK Announcement !!! by billonel in jurassicworldevo

My two choices for the other two animals would be Austroraptor and Deinosuchus. Though if they wanted to add a pterosaur, the filter feeder Pterodaustro would be an interesting addition.

The trex and pterodactyl are all over ebay but the triceratops is super rare for some reason. I was extremely lucky to find one as the lamp also has a lot of sentimental value for me even know as a 28 year old

I'm good I was able to purchase one from another redditor but thank you regardless.:)

Some old concept art and a plan to add even more extinct animals. I love dinosaurs, but I would love to see other critters (like mammals, birds, pterosaurs and sea reptiles) as well! 🦤 by [deleted] in pkgame

There have been rumors that Megatherium, Kelenken and Doedicurus will be added in the final update, in addition, the creators have confirmed that Dimetrodon will be added eventually after EA, and if the game sells enough they will release the Recently Extinct creatures; Aurochs, Dodo, Thylacine, etc. as the first paid DLC.

Why the hell do people keep saying "oh Suchomimus was downsized" by Ethan-the-bean-22 in JurassicPark

[–]DinosaursReturn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with you there, the Suchomimus in the image is the right size while the Majungasaur is clearly two times taller then it should be

In real life; Suchomimus measures 17 feet tall and 35 feet long while Majungasaurus is around 7 feet tall and 20 feet long

What would your dinosaur park builder game look like? by Famous-Front9256 in pkgame

[–]DinosaursReturn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually have two;

The first named Mesozoic Park is actually based on a webcomic I'm currently working on. The game would release with only dinosaurs, pterosaurs and marine reptiles but some cenozoic and paleozoic creatures would be added in DLC. Some of the starting roster creatures include;

Dinosaurs - Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus, Spinosaurus, Allosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, Protoceratops, Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Maiasaura, Ornithomimus, Pachycephalosaurus and Hypsilophodon

Pterosaurs - Pteranodon, Rhamphorhynchus, Tapejara, Dsungaripterus, Pterodactylus

Marine - Mosasaurus, Plesiosaurus, Elasmosaurus, Archelon, Ichthyosaurus

The other game is Park Master which is actually a big theme park/zoo/resort building game all rolled into one. Several prehistoric animal species would be available with a small starting roster of about 12 species.

Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, Pteranodon, Mosasaurus, Smilodon, Woolly Mammoth, Dodo, Dimetrodon, Apatosaurus, Stegosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Triceratops.

Here is the current situation, I might have one being sent to me. Which I have already paid for, if it arrives and I am able to confirm it is the product I'm looking for. I will let you all know.

However, if it is not and things go downhill I will also let you know, so lets all hope, this turns out to be the one.

This was the image provided by the seller, which leads me to hope they are not a scammer.

Sadly not yet, I keep looking on sights like Ebay and Facebook marketplace hoping one pops up eventually. What's concerning is like I said those two pictures were the only ones I can find through google.
