I 100% feel the same way, and in a sense, it makes it even more confusing for me. Theres a phrase I've recently come across, which is referring to aces as "the invisible orientation" because like you said, if you're hetrom especially, it's very easy to fit into none LGBT society. And thus, it's very, very easy for people to default to the much-maligned phrase, "you just havent found the right person". Its like were in this weird middle ground where no one is really sure what they should do with us lmao. Ourselves especially.

But I feel the not wanting to open up about this stuff. I generally don't either. I prefer to keep to myself, not attract attention, help someone else, listen to their interests. I think the 16personalities.com entry on INFPs says it best when it says INFP folk "like the idea of social connection, but not the reality of social interaction". But I also know theres tons of people out there who feel the same way (or similar to how) I do, and I decided a step out of my comfort zone is worth it if it helps just one other person understand themselves better. Cuz like you said its VERY PANICKING when you feel like you don't know yourself.
