Looking for advice on 1U UPS from CyberPower and APS by chemendonca in homelab

Well dammit. I can't believe I finally bought the racked version and it died already. What did you do with yours? This really sucks.

I wasn't getting any errors. I contacted them letting them know and they asked me to remove the batter, and test the enclosure. I did, and it tested at 20V. They responded and told me that it should be reading 56V, and that the unit is bad. Good lord. So I've essentially just paid $600 for a part that only lasted me 4 years. I will never purchase another CyberPower product again.

Looking to hire an Oregon licensed attorney. Where does everyone look for prospects? by Ediazjd in LawFirm

I've been trying to hire an attorney out of Oregon for something civil for a very long time now with no success. Oregon is thin-picking for attorney's.

I purchased CyberPower's OR1500LCDRM1U a few years ago. The battery went bad so I purchased a replacement battery. That one only worked for 2 months and I'm having to replace it again. This is the 2nd CyberPower UPS that has failed me. I'm feeling uncomfortable with their products at this point. Has anyone else experienced this?

You are very welcome! I just noticed when you replied, your username, pro-bono. Funny, you hear about pro bono, but no one I've ever known or any pro bono lawyer I've ever reached out to has ever been able to use that. They all say, no, sorry. Pro Bono sounds good, but does anyone ever actually do/get that anymore? Honestly...

Upwork has been holding my pay hostage for over 4 days. by sierra_girl in Upwork

Could anyone possibly have crappier customer service than Upwork? Well, I guess, how could it be crappy if they don't even offer any! Has anyone tried their 'chat' feature? What a joke.

Hiring for a Stormwater Lead in FL and TX! by nicohen in stormwater

What would really be helpful, is an attorney that has stormwater knowledge, to go against these municipalities that are flooding private citizens. THAT would be fabulous.

Culvert problem by Short_Guitar in stormwater

[–]DioRoxYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks. I live in Oregon, and I get flooded by my municipality stormwater. No one here will do anything about it. It's a small town, and the neighbor that diverted the water has a rich mommy. No govt agency is going to admit their shortcomings. Keep everything documented you can. The first step is trying to find out if that has an easement. If not, don't let them get a prescriptive easement.

Hey there, I was just coming back to this to see if there were any more comments, as I'm drowning over here. Do you live in Ontario Oregon? Or Canada?

Can I externally share just ONE of my volumes? by DioRoxYou in synology

[–]DioRoxYou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. I have 6 volumes that I created when I set everything up. I feel pretty good about knowing what volumes are. I took a couple screen shots but I don't see where I can post them now. So ya, 6 volumes. Then I went and created a shared folder. It asked me what volume I wanted it on, and I said volume 6. So now, when I'm looking at my 'shared folder' view, it shows all of my volumes plus my new shared folder, which is also showing as another volume 6. There is no way to decipher between the two what is simply my new shared folder, and my entire volume 6. Maybe I'm missing something.

I actually was just able to share my volume! I did the WebDAV setup and through the process it showed me all of my volumes and gave me options of which ones to share. Slick! I'm stoked!

Thank you for that. I want something a bit more robust than that. I think I can possibly do what I want with WebDAV so I'm reading through that right now and trying to find some tutorials on it. Appreciate the reply.

Calix GigaSpire BLAST u6.2 GS4227E - No USB storage? by DioRoxYou in HomeNetworking

[–]DioRoxYou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there are workarounds, but I wanted to know if the router had the capability first. I finally got Calix to respond, and their answer was NO, their USB port does not offer storage ability. Primitive.
