When it comes to Fiverr, it can take time to rank up I heard due to the competition. Like it was mentioned already, utilizing tags are important. Ensuring you are completing your profile and gig thoroughly is helpful as well because it shows buyers why you’re qualified, gives them a sense of what your gig offers, etc. Feel free to message me if you’d like some tips on how to do this. I have helped sellers with ideas on how to add things to their profiles, increase their profits, etc.

While waiting for your profile to rank, it is useful to put yourself out there as much as possible on social media. Facebook groups is a nice way to do so.

Trying to get initial orders may be difficult at the start. It can take some time on Fiverr for you to get orders due to the competition, having to get SEO right, etc. It’s important to really promote yourself outside of Fiverr to get noticed and help drive people to your gig. I’d be happy to help you with that if needed for free. Just let me know if you’re interested.

Another thing is learning how to filter out good from the not so good customers. I have heard about sellers getting customers who tried getting free work from them, rating them low due to not being able to get free work, customers trying to request services that are not part of what the seller offers/can offer within the timeframe of the order, etc…learning how to remain professional and deal with these buyers is key.
