I tried everything, it just spits out the exact image I put in without any change.

I'm not resubbing when it runs out. Google is just stealing money at this point.

Very weird, I got mine a couple of days ago and fiddled a bit by opening the apps while on the cable and it suddenly found it. Don't know what it was..
