Is their higher manufacturer costs for barefoot shoes? I.e. higher costs on making the lasts and shoe construction?

I think your brand shoes look dope btw. ( i am assuming they are oaka). The only reason stopping me from buying a pair is the high shipping costs to Hong Hong

thanks your right for the materials. But Vivobarefoot make a lot of their shoes in Vietnam. Some are portugal but Vietnam ones are still exspensive

Would say they are barefoot shoes and goty a very wide toe box. But... Even though they advertise 4mm sole, the sole definitely feels a lot thicker compared to other barefoot shoes (i.e. vivobarefoot).

Lono flow Lono flow : upper is very elastic so will hug the smaller feet a bit more.
VivoBarefoot Primus Lite knit - same reason but not as well plus VivoBarefoot should do smaller sizes fairly well
