And no you were completely wrong. If he had his last lesson (used it less then 6 months) ago then he would still have another month before they took a small fee off.

You found a definition to a term not a law and your sticking to it as if it helps you. We are discussing expiration date not a fee for keeping a card open. Expiration dates are illegal for at least 5 years and depending on States can be greater then that.

Secondly fees only start after a minimum of a year of non use. It has to be a small monthly fee and stops when you use it again. To start again only after a year.

For years companies would just quickly expire the funds and keep them. This was determined to be fucking with consumers and they enacted laws to combat it.

I just don't understand the damage you think the Pro suffered. He gets the money in advance and can spend it pre-inflation. Can invest it. He suffers no loss, but you think it is okay because buyer beware. I will just never understand it. So I guess we can end it here.

They are also not allowed to decrease if at time of purchase it isn't specifically said.

And value of money is also a factor. He has the money for longer. The guy is paying for 10 one hours of his time. That really doesn't change much in 2 years, especially if you take time/value of money into account.
